Sports Advisory & Organizational Development

Helping sports organizations turn ambition into operating results.

I advise federations, clubs and sports businesses on strategy, governance, workforce and organizational development.

My work focuses on the decisions behind delivery: how an organization is structured, who is responsible for what, which capabilities are missing and what needs to change.

Based in Riyadh, I bring international federation experience alongside specialist insight into Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Where I Can Help

Sports Strategy & Governance

I help boards and leadership teams review their strategic priorities, governance responsibilities and operating models.

This work is relevant when responsibilities are unclear, decision-making is inconsistent or the organization’s structure no longer supports its objectives. An assignment can examine the relationship between the board and management, how authority is delegated and who is accountable for implementation.

The aim is to establish priorities and responsibilities that the organization can put into practice.

Possible outputs: A strategy review with implementation priorities, a decision-making and responsibility framework, or recommendations for the operating model.

Workforce & Organizational Development

I help sports organizations identify the people, leadership and capabilities they need to deliver their priorities.

This can include workforce planning, organizational design, role definition and research into executive and specialist talent markets. The work starts with what the organization needs to achieve, then examines its existing capabilities and where additional expertise is required.

Through SSPN, assignments can also draw on sports-workforce intelligence and targeted talent mapping.

Possible outputs: A workforce requirements plan, defined leadership and specialist roles, a capability-gap assessment or a targeted talent map.

Saudi & GCC Market Advisory

I support organizations assessing opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the GCC with insight into the sports sector, institutional stakeholders, potential partners and operating requirements.

An assignment can examine market-entry readiness, the relevance of a proposed service, stakeholder relationships or the capabilities needed to establish a local presence. It can also support preparation for meetings and partnership discussions.

The focus is helping organizations make informed decisions before committing resources.

Possible outputs: A market-orientation brief, stakeholder map, partner-assessment brief or market-entry readiness review.

The Experience Behind the Advice

I bring 15+ years of experience in sport, spanning executive leadership, governance, entrepreneurship and international federation administration.

Today, I am Founder and Managing Director of the Saudi Sports Professionals Network, Secretary General of Yoga Global Federation, and an Executive Council Member of the Asian Yogasana Sport Federation.

My previous roles include CEO of the Saudi Boxing Federation and Vice Chairman of the Saudi Gymnastics Federation, alongside leadership experience in sports organizations and businesses.

That background gives me perspectives from both executive management and board oversight. It informs how I approach responsibilities, organizational capability and the relationship between strategic decisions and everyday delivery.

Ways to Work Together

The engagement format depends on the question, the work required and the support your team needs.

Focused Advisory Review

An independent assessment of a defined organizational or market question. This may involve reviewing relevant material, discussing the issue with key people and presenting recommendations with clear priorities.

Project-Based Advisory

A scoped assignment with agreed deliverables, responsibilities and timing. This is suited to work such as an operating-model review, workforce plan, governance framework or market-readiness assessment.

Ongoing Advisory

Recurring support for selected leadership decisions and organizational priorities. The arrangement defines the areas covered, meeting frequency and level of involvement, including any implementation support.

Executive Workshop

A focused working session for a board, executive team or functional leaders. Each workshop addresses a defined question and is designed to produce agreed priorities, responsibilities or next steps.

How the Work Is Scoped

We begin by clarifying what your organization is trying to achieve, the decision or challenge involved and what a useful outcome would look like.

From there, we agree on the scope, deliverables, information required, timing and responsibilities. Recommendations are developed with the organization’s resources and implementation capacity in mind.

Where specialist input is required beyond my advisory remit, that work is identified and scoped separately.

Research and Intelligence Through SSPN

Saudi Sports Professionals Network is a sports advisory, intelligence and solutions business focused on workforce, organizational development and market entry.

I lead the advisory work. Where an assignment requires workforce or market research, it can be supported by SSPN’s sports-sector intelligence and talent-mapping capabilities.

This can help an organization understand leadership markets, identify relevant specialist experience or examine the capabilities available across the sector. Research is matched to the assignment and the decisions it needs to support.

Discuss Your Organization’s Priorities

Share what your organization is trying to achieve, where the challenge sits and your expected timing.

We can discuss the scope and whether a focused review, project, workshop or ongoing advisory engagement would be the most useful next step.
